Arrayed around a fountain courtyard, Sandals Grande Antigua, a complex of colorful wood buildings, comprises a health, beauty, and fitness center. One open-air pavilion shelters an eight-person spa tub and plunge pool. Another open-air pavilion contains cardio and weight machines and free weights. A third holds a workout area for aerobics and yoga classes. An air-conditioned health-and-beauty spa offers massage, body treatments, facials, waxing, and hair and nail care in an ambience of bleached-wood ceilings, marble walls, and tropical woods. Within the spa are men's and women's saunas, steam rooms, and skylighted relaxation lounges, as well as a hydrotherapy room with twin treatment tables for couples.
